About Voices Unheard

We Help Communities Understand Deafness And Neurodiversity

Voices Unheard is a community interest organisation led by lived experience. We deliver workshops and awareness sessions that help schools, workplaces and community groups understand deafness, neurodiversity and inclusive communication, so more people feel seen, heard.

Our mission is to give deaf and neurodivergent people a stronger voice in everyday spaces. We do this by providing practical, story led workshops that build understanding, reduce stigma and encourage kinder, more confident communication.

We imagine a future where deaf and neurodivergent children and adults can move through schools, workplaces and communities without facing unnecessary barriers. Voices Unheard aims to support this by working nationally.

Our sessions help people recognise the barriers that deaf and neurodivergent people face, then give them simple tools to respond differently. Groups leave with better awareness, more confidence to communicate and a clearer idea of how to make their environments more inclusive.
